President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the leadership and people of Kosovo on the occasion of their Independence Day.

In a message sent to Dr Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu and Prime Minister Albin Kurti, President Dr Muizzu extended warm wishes on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives. He also expressed his personal hopes for their good health, happiness, and the continued progress and prosperity of Kosovo.

Kosovo celebrates its Independence Day annually on the 17th of February, marking its declaration of independence in 2008. The Maldives has been a supporter of Kosovo’s sovereignty and maintains friendly diplomatic ties with the nation.
