Bank of Maldives (BML) has launched a new dollar ATM at its Hithadhoo branch in Addu City, further expanding its services to meet customer demands.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, BML’s CEO and Managing Director, Mohamed Shareef, highlighted the bank’s commitment to enhancing financial services in Addu City. He stated that the establishment of dollar ATMs reflects the growing demand for dollar transactions in the region.
"With this recent change in the Gamu branch to prioritise Islamic banking services and the expansion of ATM services, the bank is further strengthening its participation in Addu City," Shareef said.
According to BML, the new dollar ATM will provide 24-hour access to both deposits and withdrawals, ensuring greater convenience for customers.
In addition to the new dollar ATM, the Hithadhoo branch already has two other ATMs – one dedicated to self-service banking and another for cash withdrawals
