An ambulance collided head-on with a motorcycle in Malé City on Friday night.

According to police, the accident occurred around 7:35 PM near the Housing Ministry. The motorcycle rider sustained injuries to the lower back and was taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for treatment.

Both drivers involved in the accident had valid licences, and police have launched an investigation into the incident.
