Island Aviation Services Limited, the operator of the Maldives' national airline, has announced opportunities for general sales agents (GSAs) in Bangkok, Thailand, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

According to the airline’s statement, interested applicants must have at least three years of experience in managing an air travel agency and generate an annual revenue of at least USD 2 million from aviation or travel-related businesses. Additionally, the selected agency must already be a sales agent for at least one major airline.

The contract period for the service is set for two years, and the service provider must be available for at least six hours a day on working days.

This move reflects the airline’s efforts to strengthen its presence in key Southeast Asian markets, aiming to enhance connectivity and accessibility for travellers between these regions and the Maldives.
