Maldives Broadcasting Commission (Broadcom) has launched an investigation into a song produced by Raajje TV for its special coverage of the 'Fudhijje, Fundijje' rally organised by the opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP).

According to sources, Broadcom has sent a letter to Raajje TV, requesting an internal review of the song titled 'Dhiveheen hama fundijje ey, mivarun hama fudhijje ey'. The commission stated that the matter was brought to its attention on Sunday, although the petitioner did not specify further details.

In the letter, Broadcom instructed Raajje TV to preserve the content of the song while the commission conducts its review. The investigation will determine whether the song complies with broadcasting regulations, and a final decision is expected in due course.
