President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has expressed his condolences on the passing of Zameera Umar, mother of former First Lady Fazna Ahmed.

Zameera passed away this morning. In a message on X, the President said he was deeply saddened by her passing and extended his sympathies to former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and his wife, Fazna.

He also prayed for Zameera to be granted eternal peace and blessings.
