President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has returned to Malé after a three-day visit to HA. Atoll, where he toured 10 islands to assess development needs and meet with local councils and community leaders.

During the trip, the President engaged with island residents and institutions, listening to their concerns and assuring them of the government’s commitment to supporting development projects. Several key initiatives were launched, including the inauguration of new projects and the installation of ATMs in multiple islands, a key pledge of the administration to improve banking access.

Accompanied by a ministerial delegation, the visit aimed to address challenges promptly and ensure swift progress on development efforts. This tour is part of a broader plan to visit all atolls in the Maldives and engage with local councils to accelerate nationwide development.
