The service for printing and issuing passports has officially been inaugurated in HA. Ihavandhoo.

Homeland Security Minister Ali Ihsan launched the service during President Dr Mohamed Muizzu's visit to Haa Atoll. The government has also enabled passport collection through the online ‘Imuga’ portal in Ihavandhoo.

Meanwhile, Dhidhdhoo Atoll has begun printing and issuing ID cards. This expansion is part of the president’s pledge to provide passport and ID services nationwide, which began on 16 November.
