Civil Court has ruled that Fenaka Corporation Ltd must pay MVR 28.1 million to Dimah Private Limited for services and property provided under multiple agreements.

Dimah filed the case after Fenaka failed to make payments despite repeated requests. During the initial hearing on May 5 last year, Fenaka sought 14 days to settle the matter out of court but failed to do so. A preliminary hearing was later held on October 23, 2024.

In May 2024, Dimah submitted a special application, requesting the court to issue a verdict without further hearings. The application also requested Fenaka to pay not less than MVR 2.5 million monthly toward clearing the outstanding amount. Fenaka did not object to the application.

In its ruling yesterday, the court ordered Fenaka to pay MVR 2.5 million per month for 11 months, totalling MVR 28.1 million. This payment is part of the MVR 31.1 million owed for services and property provided by Dimah.
