Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened applications for director positions on its Board of Directors to be elected by general shareholders.
Candidates for the director positions elected by general shareholders must be between 30 and 70 years old. They must also meet the standards and qualities specified in the Fit and Proper Requirements of MMA's Prudential Regulation and the qualifications for directors outlined in BML's Articles of Association.
BML stated that preference will be given to candidates who meet the criteria for independent directors as defined by MMA's Regulation on Corporate Governance for Banks, Insurance Companies and Finance Companies, and the Capital Market Development Authority's Corporate Governance Code.
Application forms for the director positions elected by general shareholders can be submitted to the sixth floor of BML's Head Office from today until the 24th of next month.
Documents can also be emailed to the Bank Secretary at [email protected]. The application form for the Board of Directors can be downloaded from BML's website.
