Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Captain Mohamed Ameen, has been called to the Parliament's Commitee to address concerns about issues within the Transport Ministry.

The decision was made during a committee meeting yesterday after Hulhumale' South MP Dr Ahmed Shamheed of the opposition MDP proposed the move. He raised concerns about matters related to the ministry, including vehicle registration. The proposal was supported by ruling PNC's Henveiru West MP Ali Ibrahim, and the members present approved it unanimously.

Committee Chair Mohamed Ismail noted that most members believed further discussion on the ministry’s challenges was necessary to fully understand the situation. The minister is expected to clarify these issues during his appearance before the committee.
