President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has departed on a three-day visit to Raa Atoll on Tuesday morning.
During the trip, he will visit several islands, meet with councils, Women’s Development Committees, and local leaders to learn about the needs of the communities.
The President will also launch important projects, including ATM services for easier banking, new Council buildings, and NID and passport services.
The visit will cover An’golhitheemu, Hulhudhuffaaru, Innamaadhoo, Kinolhas, Maakurathu, Maduvvari, Fainu, Rasgetheemu, Rasmaadhoo, and Un’goofaaru.
The tour, joined by Cabinet Ministers and senior officials, is part of the President’s promise to connect with local communities. It will end on Thursday.
