Statistics show that the Family Court awarded MVR 97 million in various cases last year.

According to some statistics released by the Family Court for the past year, the court awarded MVR 97.1 million in proven expenses. This includes cases related to child support, iddah expenses, childbirth expenses, and dowry issues.

The statistics show that the court received MVR 46.7 million last year in connection with various ongoing cases. Additionally, including funds that were not returned in 2023, the court has returned MVR 47.5 million to parties involved in cases.

According to the statistics, the court conducted 2,485 marriages last year. This includes 163 marriages involving foreigners. The court also confirmed 1,326 divorces that year.

The statistics indicate that the court issued 117 protection orders last year. Additionally, six agreements were made regarding resolving marital issues and child custody arrangements for divorced couples.
