The national airline of Maldives, Maldivian, has announced fares for flights to China using their newly acquired wide-body aircraft and opened bookings.

According to Maldivian, flights to China using their wide-body aircraft will begin on the 22nd of this month.

  • Chengdu, China - January 22 (USD 668, round trip)
  • Beijing, China - January 24 (USD 788, round trip)
  • Shanghai, China - January 27 (USD 777, round trip)

Maldivian stated that travel to Chengdu at this price will be available from the 22nd of this month until the end of the month. For Beijing, the price is valid from the 24th of this month to the 1st of next month, and for Shanghai, from the 27th of this month to the 4th of next month.

The wide-body aircraft acquired by Maldivian has 264 seats in three classes: 18 seats in Business Class, 36 seats in Premium Economy, and 210 seats in Economy Class. The aircraft can also carry 10 tons of cargo.

Maldivian's new A-330 aircraft arrived in the Maldives on the 6th of this month.
