Housing Minister Dr. Abdulla Muththalib has announced that any flats or plots of land allotted outside established policy will be confiscated.

Speaking at a press conference at the President's Office, the minister emphasised that no exceptions would be made for irregular allocations. "If a flat or land is allotted outside the rules, it will be taken back. We will not allow anything to be done in a corrupt manner or outside the policy," Dr. Muththalib stated.

The minister also cautioned against individuals falsely promising flats or land in exchange for money. He warned that such transactions are illegal and will not result in ownership of the promised property. He added that it is futile to expect such transactions will come to fruition.
