President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with Estonian President Dr Alar Karis during his official visit to Estonia.

President Dr Karis thanked President Dr Muizzu for accepting his invitation, while President Dr Muizzu expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality.

The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in areas such as tourism, education, and climate change. President Dr Muizzu highlighted Estonia’s expertise in digital technology, renewable energy, and sustainable development as valuable for the Maldives. They also explored opportunities for collaboration in cybersecurity and environmental resilience.

Both Presidents shared views on international security and agreed to work together on shared goals. They expressed confidence in building a stronger partnership between the Maldives and Estonia.
