Dhiraagu has launched high-speed fibre broadband services across all inhabited islands in the Maldives, marking a historic milestone in the nation's telecommunications sector.

At a press conference, Dhiraagu’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Ismail Rasheed, announced that this achievement places the Maldives among a select group of nations worldwide to attain complete fibre broadband coverage.

"This marks a transformative moment for digital accessibility in the Maldives," said Rasheed, highlighting how the expansion connects communities across the northernmost to southernmost atolls.

The initiative is expected to drive both social and economic growth throughout the archipelago. Dhiraagu stressed the importance of broadband infrastructure as a cornerstone for national development and a key enabler of digital transformation.
