Maldives Police Service has decided to conduct a postmortem on a person who died in Male'.

In a message sent to the media, the police said they received information about a person being brought dead to IGMH at around 9:53 AM today.

The deceased is Hussein Ahmed (41 years old) of M. Tharivilage. The police said that a postmortem examination has been arranged.

The police are currently investigating the case.
