President Dr Mohamed Muizzu of the Maldives sent congratulations to Mohamed Younis A Menfi, President of the Presidential Council of Libya, and Abdulhamid M.A. Al Dabiba, Prime Minister of Libya, on the occasion of Libya's Independence Day.

In his messages, President Dr Muizzu shared best wishes from the Maldives government and people, expressing hopes for the health and well-being of the Libyan leaders. He also wished for peace, prosperity, and progress for the Libyan people.

Libya celebrates its Independence Day every year on December 24th. The Maldives and Libya established diplomatic relations on November 17th, 1975.
