Maldives Police Service has revealed a second dead body has been found in a residential home in Male' City.

Police received a report about an unconscious person around 0127hrs. The man, identified as 45-year-old Dawood was rushed to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), where he was declared dead on arrival.

Authorities are conducting further investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death. Additional details have yet to be released.
