Maldives Police Service has revealed that a dead body has been found inside a house in Galolhu.

In a message shared with the media, Police noted that they received reports of the incident at 5:02 PM today.

The police said that the person was already deceased when taken to IGMH (Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital), according to information provided by the hospital.

According to the police, the deceased was identified as Ali Rasheed, 35, of G. Fares Light.

The police are continuing to investigate Rasheed's death further.
