Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the vandalism of 'Let's Coffee Maldives,' a café located on Haveri Road in Malé City.

The incident occurred on 12th May when a group of people stormed into the café, threatened staff with sharp-edged weapons, and caused significant damage to the premises. A video of the incident, showing the group creating chaos, has since surfaced online.

A police complaint was lodged the same day, and on Sunday, two suspects were arrested under a court order. The suspects have been identified as Ahmed Taufeeg (31) and Meezan Asadullah Hathim (44).

The suspects were presented before a local court, which remanded them in police custody for five days. The police have confirmed that investigations into the case are ongoing.
