Dhiraagu has extended its support to the Sunshine Class, the Special Education Needs (SEN) unit of the Atoll Education Centre in Kulhudhuffushi City.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Dhiraagu donated automatic seats, locking seats, and additional resources for the sensory and activity unit of the Sunshine Class. These contributions aim to enhance the learning environment for children with disabilities and ensure their needs are met effectively.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mohamed Ali, Assistant Manager Operations at Dhiraagu's Kulhudhuffushi Operations Centre, highlighted the company’s commitment to supporting the community. He emphasised that every child deserves equal opportunities to grow and learn, adding that Dhiraagu is proud to contribute to the remarkable work of the school’s teachers in creating an inclusive space for all children.
Principal of the Atoll Education Centre, Mohamed Matheen, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dhiraagu for their valuable support. He noted that the new resources would significantly advance the school's mission to deliver inclusive education and enrich the experience of students in the Sunshine Class.
