Maldives Immigration has stated that they are working on deporting the main instigator of the disturbance that occurred at the Artificial Beach.

The public disturbance at the Artificial Beach area, which posed a threat to public interest, took place on the sixth of this month. The unrest occurred among a group of Indians who had gone to the area.

In a post made on X today, along with a photo and profile of the main instigator, Immigration stated that the 25-year-old individual was found with the assistance of the police.

Immigration Controller Shamaan Waheed had previously stated that action would be taken against all those involved in the disturbance.
