MNDF responds to potential fire incident in Male'

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has been called into action after smoke was seen billowing from a house in Male’ City.

According to MNDF's Fire and Rescue personnel were deployed to the scene on the ninth floor H. Need. Details of the incident remain limited at this time.

One's reporter present at the site stated that people were evacuated from the building as smoke continued to emanate. Authorities have also cordoned off the area to ensure public safety.

The smoke reportedly originated from a room on the ninth floor of the building, which houses the Skyfall restaurant. Investigations into the cause of the smoke are ongoing, and no injuries have been reported so far.
