State Trading Organization (STO) has announced the successful commencement of the inaugural Nexus of Care Symposium.

Held under the theme “Enhancing Healthcare Efficiency and Sustainability,” the event marked the beginning of a series of symposiums designed to foster collaboration among healthcare institutions across the Maldives.

The first session brought together representatives from major hospitals, creating a platform for dialogue and innovation in key areas such as:

- Sustainable Healthcare Practices: Highlighting actionable steps to reduce environmental impact while ensuring high-quality care.

- Patient Care Enhancements: Sharing ideas and technologies to improve outcomes and patient satisfaction.

- Healthcare Workforce Efficiency: Discussing solutions to address workforce challenges and improve operational efficiency.

- Efficient Procurement Strategies: Addressing the importance of streamlined processes to improve cost management and timely access to medical supplies.

STO noted that the participants had the opportunity to explore STO’s diverse healthcare offerings, including global brands and high-tech innovations in medical technology. This milestone symposium served as a platform to exchange ideas, address challenges, and explore opportunities to enhance patient care in the Maldives.
