President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has expressed confidence that the years 2025 and 2026 will mark significant progress in fulfilling his pledges and completing development projects. Speaking to residents of AA. Thoddoo, he highlighted the steps his Government is taking to deliver on its commitments.
The President noted that the 2024 budget was approved by the previous administration, without any provisions proposed by his government. However, he assured that the new budget approved by his Administration is designed to meet the people's needs, with implementation starting by the end of this month.
President Dr Muizzu stated that the years 2025 and 2026 would be crucial for the country. He mentioned that during this period, he would visit communities across the nation to implement activities that align with the promises made during the presidential elections. He also outlined plans to initiate and complete various projects across the country between January 2025 and December 2026.
President Dr Muizzu emphasised that his Government prioritises enhancing the capabilities of the people and operates without political bias. Equality has always been at the core of our service to the people, and we will continue to uphold this principle in the future, he added.
