MDP to decide on their candidate for Speaker of the Parliament on 27 May

One Online has confirmed that MDP is going to decide on their candidate for to be the Speaker of the Parliament.

MDP members that have expressed their interest to be the Speaker of the 19th Session of the Parliament are the MP for Vilufushi constituency, Hassan Afeef, MP for Maradhoo constituency, Ibrahim Shareef, the MP for Addu-Meedhoo constituency, Rozaina Adam, MP for north Hithadhoo constituency, Mohamed Aslam and the MP for Mid-Henveiru constituency, Ali Azim.

MDP will decide on a candidate for the position in a vote by the party’s Parliamentary Group.
