Allied Insurance has reinstated cashless services for outpatient healthcare following a brief suspension in response to recent changes in the Aasandha policy. Alongside several other private insurers, Allied halted cashless billing yesterday as the government implemented a new policy prioritizing private insurance coverage before providing Aasandha benefits.

In an email sent to healthcare facilities last night, Allied Insurance confirmed that cashless services have now resumed, allowing patients to access healthcare without upfront payments. Under this service, billing transactions are handled directly between Allied and healthcare providers, relieving patients from immediate out-of-pocket expenses.

Allied also clarified that patients seeking outpatient services may use the cashless option until their coverage limits are reached, ensuring continued access to care without financial interruptions.
