MTCC's 'Supervisors Symposium 2024' has concluded with a celebratory closing ceremony, marking the end of the two-day event organized by the company.
The symposium brought together 107 site supervisors, focusing on enhancing the skills and leadership of those overseeing the company's infrastructure development projects. Organized annually by the HR department, this forum is designed to further train supervisors working on-site.
The closing ceremony, held at The Umar Zahir Building, saw certificates presented to the participants by the executive management team, including the chairman of the board, managing director, and board members. The sessions were conducted by industry professionals and experts from various divisions of the company.
This year's symposium covered a range of topics, including project progress, leadership and teamwork, improving the quality of infrastructure projects, cost management, and ensuring timely completion of government projects. The company emphasized the importance of preventive maintenance of machinery and vehicles used in MTCC projects, as well as efficient resource utilization.
In addition, the symposium focused on health and safety standards that employees must maintain and highlighted the ethical guidelines that MTCC employees are expected to follow.
MTCC reiterated its commitment to the development of its workforce, noting that its employees are the company's most valuable asset. Alongside forums like the symposium, MTCC offers scholarships and training opportunities to enhance employee skills. Last year, the company provided 22,143 hours of training to 1,603 employees across various fields.
For the past 43 years, MTCC has aimed to grow its business while maintaining the trust of its customers, shareholders, business partners, and the general public.
