Ooredoo Maldives has opened registration slots for the Ooredoo Nation Inter-Office Competition.

Ooredoo said that the Ooredoo Nation Inter-Office Tournament is part of Ooredoo's efforts to promote the eSports community in the Maldives. Ooredoo said that the competition will allow participants to showcase the gaming skills, enhance teamwork and build friendships.

Teams interested in registering for the tournament will be able to register before next month, Ooredoo said.

Three popular games in the competition are EAFC24, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and PUBG Mobile and the tournament will begin on May 6, Ooredoo said, adding that the tournament will be telecast live.

Football enthusiasts will get an opportunity to prove their talent in EA Sports' latest football simulation game FC24. With realistic gameplay and competitive features, it is a perfect competition for participants to showcase their talent in virtual football, said Ooredoo.

The competition will have a prize pool of MVR 20,000, followed by MVR 10,000 for the first, MVR 6,000 for the second and MVR 4,000 for the third. Interested parties can register at http://ore.do/eafcoffice.

In the popular mobile multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, MLBB, teams will take part in battles. Strategy, coordination and quick reflex will be important when teams compete to win, according to Ooredoo, with the total prize pool of MVR 10,000.

Ooredoo said that PUBG Mobile's fast action and tactical gameplay will pose challenge players to strategic thinking in the battle royale arena.
