Transport Ministry's Male' Fahi programme is set to introduce smaller buses in the Greater Male' Region along with a taxi line.

The Ministry said it hopes to make the roads safer with the new initiative. As such, Transport Ministry shared the details of how the programme will attend traffic congestion.

Transport Ministry said that in order to reduce the congestion, smaller buses will be introduced with modified frequency in Male' and Hulhumale'.

Additionally, a reliable and safe taxi line will also be set up in the Greater Male' Region, the Ministry said.

The taxi line will be controlled through a separate app on a freelance basis and will offer the option for interested parties to join and provide rides, as per the Ministry
