MWSC has said the water and sewerage project in HDh. Kumundhoo has been completed.

MWSC commenced the construction of water and sewerage network in Kumundhoo on 2 April 2021.

The project was valued at MVR 102.17 million.

The project has been completed and MWSC has commissioned the water supply project as well, the company said.

As part of the project, MWSC established a facility to house the water plant and the main network of water and sewerage was constructed and connected to households.

Apart from this, water storage tanks have been installed, boreholes have been dug, pumping stations, sea outfalls and reject lines have also been constructed, MWSC said.
