Two people who tried to attack a policeman has been arrested.

Maldives Police Service (MPS) confirmed that a 46 year old Maldivian along with a 24 year old foreigner has been arrested in relation to the case. Both are said to be men.

They both were arrested when a traffic police tried to control a scuffle between the Maldivian man and foreigner in the market area this evening, when they both tried to attack the policeman.

The Maldivian who was arrested is said to have had a busted lip at the time of arrest.
