Police is investigating a case of fraud and extortion of money from people by claiming to bring vehicles from abroad.

Police is currently seeking people who have paid Megatron Motors Maldives Wave International to purchase a vehicle to contact the Economic Crime Department at 9790048.

Megatron Motors Maldives Wave International is a Maldives Wave company that is famous for selling watches. Maldives Wave owner Zaji Ismail Shujao has shares in the company as well.

According to Megatron Motors' Facebook page, the company has advertised the vehicles for sale from August 2022 to January this year. There are more than 30 vehicles advertised for sale. These include luxury cars.
