India has increased the quota of staple food imports to Maldives.

The Indian High Commission in Maldives issued a press statement on Saturday that the quota of staple food imports to Maldives has been increased on the request of Maldivian government. As such, the staple food quota has been increased by 5 percent, the High Commission said.
