A theft has been reported from the Eydhafushi Post Office in Baa Atoll.

Maldives Police Service said that the glass window of the post office was broken into and the theft was reported around 8:30 a.m. this morning.

Police said that MVR 1,500 was the only money stolen in the theft and nothing else was stolen.

An investigation is underway into the incident.
