Former Minister of Transport and Jumhooree Party Deputy Leader, Aishath Nahula has announced that she will be running for South Hulhumale' constituency at the upcoming Parliamentary Election.
Nahula posted on X tonight that she would like to ask all the people of South Hulhumale' to give her support.
“I have decided to contest the 2024 parliamentary elections for the South Hulhumale constituency on behalf of the JP,” she said.
Nahula was the Transport Minister of the last government. She is also the wife of JP Leader and MP Qasim Ibrahim.
She was elected as the Deputy Leader of the JP at the party's national congress held on February 26 last year.
