IGMH CEO Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem has said that he has a plan to build a special clinic for medical checkups.
When asked about the measures to be taken to prevent queues for medical check-ups, Haleem said a separate place has been designated for the service at the Hulhumale Hospital. He said the service will be expanded when it starts providing services to different age groups.
“In the future, when we launch the service for other categories, we are planning to build a separate medical check-up clinic,” Haleem said.
He said the clinic would enable people to go to a separate place for medical check-ups.
Speaking at the press conference on what she will do to further strengthen the service, NSPA CEO Heena Waleed said she will look at the statistics of people who make appointments for the service and those who have been given the service every week.
There are packages for medical checkups under Aasandha today, which can only be done at government healthcare centers and hospitals.
The service will be available to people over the age of 50 starting today. The service will be available for people aged 35 to 49 and under 19 in April, and for people aged 19 to 34 in July.
