The Privatization Corporatization Board (PCB) has issued a notice yesterday after reviewing the notice allowing companies to hand over negotiated projects to contractors and suppliers even if no new projects are implemented during the transitional phase.

The PCB said in a statement on Wednesday that during the ongoing transitional phase, government-owned and government-traded companies should not undertake any new projects or incur heavy expenditure except for their normal transactions.

However, the revised statement issued yesterday said that companies will be able to continue with projects negotiated with contractors and suppliers and extensions of ongoing projects.

The PCB has directed that these projects should be of benefit to the people as part of the government's policies.

In addition, the company has been ordered not to make any changes to its revenue rules, regulations, and decisions and not to make any changes to the rules and regulations governing the payment of salaries and allowances to its employees. The PCB has also asked the company not to change the rules and regulations relating to its employees and not to change the job structure of the company.

The PCB has also asked the companies to provide all the information requested and required by the interim committee and to make arrangements for the committee to have easy access to the documents and information it will need.
