After winning the second round of the presidential election on Saturday, the opposition PNC candidate will formulate a plan for the first 100 days of his presidency after consulting government agencies during the transitional period, Mohammed Muizzu said.

Muizzu was speaking during his campaign tour in Addu City, where he promised to build a bridge between Meedhoo and Hithadhoo, an online payment facility and low prices of goods. He further said that he would start work to eradicate the black market of dollars within the first 100 days of coming to power.

Muizzu also said that he did not make any promises as part of his first 100 days. "Formulating a plan within 100 days is impossible unless all the information is known. During the transition period, we will go to all the offices and clarify the issues and formulate a 100-day plan," he said.

However, the bridge between Meedhoo and Hithadhoo, the development of Addu City Hospital, the development of Gan Airport, and the proposal to the parliament to stop borrowing money from the MMA are top priorities on the agenda.

Muizzu said he hoped to start important projects such as the bridge and the factory to be built in Hulhumeedhoo within the first year of his presidency.
