Urbanco today announced the maximum height of six-storey buildings on land allocated in Hulhumale under the government's Binveriyaa scheme.
Urbanco changed the rule on August 17 to allow public houses to rise to 10 stories. Before that, the maximum height of residential plots was seven floors in Hulhumale'.
According to Urbanco's "Building Rules on Binveriyaa Project Allotments" today, no buildings can be built higher than six stories on the land. The maximum height of the building is 18.5 meters and if it is more than five floors, an elevator will be required. Warehouses cannot be built on the land.
In addition, three meters from the payment level may be extended into the front setback of the building beyond the front width of the building and the part of the setback may be used as part of the building. If a terrace is installed, the height of the building will be considered from the yard to the top of the terrace slab or deck.
Under the 'Binveriya' scheme, 18,955 people will be allocated land, which is 9,001 plots, of which 1,351 people will be allocated land in Uppsala.
