In its manifesto, the party has made a pledge to provide government jobs in any part of the country in a bid to decentralize government jobs.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih unveiled his economic policy of the manifesto during a special event held on Thursday night. This is the last of the five policies outlined in President Solih's election manifesto.
As part of the policy outlined in the party's manifesto released this evening, a human resource expansion and a sustainable employment market will be created. As part of the policy of decentralization of jobs, government jobs would be made available in any part of the country.
The new pay framework of the state would be fully implemented by increasing the salaries of all civil servants and government employees. Earlier, the president had announced a pay hike in January.
In addition, the ease of doing the job in the context of various life situations would be adapted to those conditions. The policy also seeks to sensitise workers to ease work through artificial intelligence.
Under the policy, "certified professionals" will be introduced with more opportunities for skilling (upskilling and re-skilling) to expand the system (trade testing) based on the experience of the unsanctioned persons to develop the private sector in the country and increase the participation of Maldivians.
