The Meeting was attended by Dr. Asim Ahmed, the Maldivian representative at the United Nations in Geneva.
During the meeting, Dr. Asim said he strongly condemns the burning of the Quran, adding that it is not acceptable under the right to freedom of expression and that such acts will create fear and hatred against Islam.
