Member and Spokesperson of the Elections Commission, Ahmed Akram, has said that election laws should not be changed or amended after an election has been announced.

Taking to Twitter earlier today, Akram said that the trend of changing election laws close to elections has to come to an end or it is going to start affecting the elections themselves. He said that this is something he always stood by.

Meanwhile, the Parliamentary Elections are set to take place in early April 2019.
