Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has said that five things related to the report on the corruption at the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) are being investigated.

ACC released a long report on the scandal earlier this month.

Talking on PSM’s “Raajje Miadhu” program, the Vice President of ACC, Muaviz Rasheed, said that lines of investigation into corruption include the level of involvement from the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) and the Bank of Maldives.

He said that an investigation is ongoing into the state funds that went to the accounts of the SOF company and distributing it to various people.

Muaviz said that the investigation into the MMPRC corruption is still incomplete. And no action has been taken against anyone with suspected involvement.
