Health Protection Agency (HPA) has set a new regulation allowing travel to the Maldives without a negative PCR test if the individual has completed all the vaccination doses.
The HPA made changes today to the regulation on those arriving in the Maldives from abroad.
And so, those who are traveling to the Maldives are not required to have a negative PCR after 14 days from administering two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the Maldives Food and Drug Authority (MFDA).
And the tourists in the country, including those staying in guesthouses, are no longer required to do a PCR before departure.
HPA has been easing and lifting regulations as the number COVID-19 cases goes down.
