Another 120 people have recovered in the past 24 hours raising the total number of recoveries to 92,940.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 120 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 92,940 with another 2,205 people still in treatment including 13 people in hospitals.

In the same time frame, 53 people tested positive in the Male' area along with 85 from the atolls and 60 from the resorts.

There have been 262 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 245 locals, 17 foreign nationals. Maldives reported its first COVID-19 related death on 29 April 2020 following the death of an 83-year-old woman.
