Another 141 people have recovered in the past 24 hours raising the total number of recoveries to 92,820.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 141 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 92,820 with another 2,127 people still in treatment including 11 people in hospitals.
In the same time frame, 47 people tested positive in the Male' area along with 71 from the atolls and 71 from the resorts with one person from safari yachts.
There have been 262 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 245 locals, 17 foreign nationals. Maldives reported its first COVID-19 related death on 29 April 2020 following the death of an 83-year-old woman.
