Another 88 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives in the past 24 hours raising the total recoveries past 92,439.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 88 people recovered from COVID-19 raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 92,439 with another 2,019 people still in treatment including ten people in hospitals.
In the same time frame, 44 people tested positive in the Male' area along with 101 from the atolls and 19 from the resorts with fur people from safari yachts. The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country has risen to 94,732.
There have been 261 COVID-related deaths in the Maldives that includes 244 locals, 17 foreign nationals. Maldives reported its first COVID-19 related death on 29 April 2020 following the death of an 83-year-old woman.
